2-17-2003 I was eating out with some friends originally from Birminghan (the best ham there is) yesterday, and after our food was blessed, one of them said, "wouldn't it be neat if instead of saying 'amen' at the end of prayers, we said 'holla' to God?" And everyone at the table laughed. So there you have it folks, an alternative to 'amen' can be 'holla'. ... I learn something new everyday. As Catherine (who so kindly signed The Snod guestbook) once eloquently and quotably stated, "One Love Peace Holla". |
