Defense
2-16-2003 In this Snod article, The Snod snoddily takes up a position in defense of Michael Jackson. This may be controversial, but journals write about controversial stuff sometimes... and this is one of those times. Many people haven't been such big fans of Michael Jackson lately. Yeah, he's had some off the chain surgery. Yeah, he's dangled one of his kids out of a window some number of stories up (but I don't know how the number). Yeah, I just felt like writing 'Yeah' a third time to sound good. But look at Michael Jackson's great contribution to society: all his wonderful music. What would the 80's have been without out Michael Jackson? Less... sadly, they would have been less :-( What about the moonwalk for crying out loud!! Besides his 80's hits, we also have him to thank for the music he made in the 90's and with The Jackson 5. Michael Jackson gave us music we can listen to, move to, dance to (moonwalk, baby!), and enjoy! So, in his defense, don't take Michael Jackson for granted - listen to his music (the good songs, anyway). |
