Human Plinko

2-6-2003  I helped invent Human Plinko the other day.  The original Plinko comes from the oh-so-new TV show "The Price Is Right."  In case your memory needs refreshing, it's the game where a little disc is dropped into the top of a rectangular box with pegs.  The disc "plinks" randomly from peg to peg as gravity pulls it downward, eventually landing in a random slot labeled with some amount of money the contestant wins, like "$20 bajizillion dollars and bling bling cents."

Human Plinko got its history-making start by me messing around at an important frat meeting.  See, I had found a nickel on the ground, and after I exclaimed to a fellow frat bro (Isaac) how excited I was to have found so much bling bling just lying on the ground, I proceeded to drop it down the back of another frat bro's shirt (Matty B.).

Matty B. let the bling bling drop to the floor out of one of his pants legs, but he's a creative fellow, so all of a sudden he got the idea for Human Plinko!  He'd put the nickel down his shirt, ask a bystander which pants leg she/he thought it would come out of, and then he'd get it to come out of one of his pants legs randomly.  Bingo, that's Human Plinko!!!  Maybe it'll become an Olympic sport one day.

The Snod Quote of the Day:
"That's my secret to winning: pretending I don't know what I'm doing."
