Saw His Shadow
2-3-2003 Good 'ol Punxsatawney Phil saw his shadow yesterday. Too bad it doesn't feel like there's gonna be 6 more weeks of winter. Please don't get me wrong; I don't want 6 more weeks of winter weather (thermal underwear's not exactly the most comfortable thing in the world). In fact, I think I'd like living somewhere that is in the '80's and '90's all year long. Speaking of '80's, I know I'd like living somewhere that has an '80's radio station. The first time I discovered a radio station that played only '80's music, I wanted to jump for joy. It's kinda hard to jump for joy, though, when you're driving down I-95 at 70 mph through a construction zone. Punxsatawney, PA should have a 24/7 '80's station so Punxsatawney Phil can be so busy jumping for joy that he'll miss his shadow. Then I wouldn't have to wear my thermal underwear anymore :-) |
