Pigeon John
8-9-2003 I recently had the great privilege of meeting and hearing the great rapper Pigeon John. He's part of an L.A. hip-hop group named L.A. Symphony, but he also does solo work. I've grown up listening to Pigeon John, and he has been a big inspiration to D'Man. He has a rather unique-sounding voice, not the typical tough-guy rapper. And the subject matter of his raps deals with average American life, not a bunch of bling-bling thuggish stuff. Also, he's personable, which makes him seem even cooler once you meet him.
