Name That Baby!
4-22-2003 I’m a fan of good, unique names. A name can be unique, but not necessarily good, like I wouldn’t really recommend naming your kid ‘Adolph’. But it’s good to have a unique name when there are so many Shawns, Emilys, Matts, Kristins, etc. these days. A good, unique girl name that has actually been used is ‘Troylynn’. Let me just say right now that whether a name is good or not depends on each individual’s opinion, like if that individual is friends or enemies with any Troylynns. I like the name ‘Troylynn’ simply because it sounds cool, especially the first four letters. Some good, unique guy names are ‘Misael’, ‘Chay’, and the ever-popular ‘D’Man’. I know ‘Misael’ and ‘Chay’ have actually been used, but sadly, to my knowledge, no one has ever been named ‘D’Man’. It’d be a really cool name, though! Some kid named ‘D’Man’ would be in kindergarten, and the teacher could ask, “Who’s D’Man?” And D’Man would say, “I’m D’Man!” and it would sound like he’s saying, “I’m the man!” - What you have just read was an excerpt from The Snod Book of the Best Baby Names.
